MicroStrategy, plan to issue $750 million worth of stocks to fund further Bitcoin purchases. This is the first time since 2021 that they are raising capital through equity for Bitcoin purchases. With their Bitcoin holdings now worth $4.5 billion compared to their debt of $3 billion.

Chinese technology shares, fell after China's cyberspace regulator proposed limiting smartphone usage for children under 18. The proposed law would restrict children to a maximum of two hours of phone usage per day and ban internet access on mobile devices from 22:00 to 06:00.

The Kenyan government has ordered cryptocurrency project Worldcoin to stop signing up new users due to data privacy concerns. Worldcoin offers free crypto tokens to people who agree to have their eyeballs scanned. Thousands of Kenyans have been queuing up to get the currency.

Australia's national gallery(NGA), will return three stolen bronze sculptures from the 9th and 10th centuries to Cambodia. The artworks were purchased by the NGA in 2011 for A$2.3m from a British artefacts smuggler who has been implicated in the illegal trade of antiquities.

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has called on the world to help Brazil protect the Amazon rainforest. He stated that investing in saving the rainforest is a cheap and necessary measure to combat climate change. Lula's comments come ahead of a summit next week in Belem.
